How to Install an MDF Door Frame Set
- Measure your door opening — width, height and depth of the wall lining
- Cut the head jamb to the correct width
- Cut the side jambs to the correct height
- Fix the head jamb first, ensuring it is level
- Fix the side jambs, checking they are plumb with a spirit level
- Secure with screws or nails and fill any gaps with decorators caulk
- Prime any cut edges, then paint to your chosen colour
