What is an Ogee skirting board?
Ogee features an S-shaped curve combining concave and convex details. Its decorative shape creates defined shadow lines and can complement panel doors, cornicing and other traditional features. Choose it when you want the skirting to contribute more visibly to the room's character.
What is a Torus skirting board?
Torus has a prominent rounded convex feature above the flat face of the board. It gives a softer, simpler traditional finish and can work well in both older homes and modern renovations.

Choose the right skirting height
Our Ogee and Torus skirting products both offer 95mm, 120mm, 144mm and 166mm heights, with Primed or Unprimed finish options. Height is the measurement from the floor to the top of the board.
A taller board gives the skirting more visual presence, while a lower board is less prominent. Measure any existing skirting and check the space around doors, sockets and other fittings before ordering. You can mark the proposed height on your wall with removable tape to help picture the difference.

Choose the finish that suits your preparation and painting plans. Primed is not the same as a finished painted surface. Follow the preparation and coating instructions for the products you use.
